You know, future generations are gonna look back at Bush's tenure and wonder how the fuck it was allowed to happen. Where was the resistance from the Democratic party? Where was the press? Why didn't anyone stand up to the repeated and egregious violations of the United States Constitution? Why weren't Bush and Cheney impeached and why wasn't anyone in their Administration held accountable? There are gonna be a lot of unanswerable questions from future generations that will shame us for the rest of our lives.
Back to "Too true to be funny." Back in 2002 'The Onion' published an article that was funny at the time, but all-too prescient considering how badly Dubya has violated our Civil Rights.

(the full address would've gotten cut-off, so I split it)
i can't believe we have a president like this one, and i can't believe the republicans continue to defend the indefensible.
while i'm not with boyda on everything ("illegal immigration"), this is reason enough to support her
this is too sad to be funny....and i can't believe the republicans are continuing to spread their crazy lies about this. we aren't less safe, we know we aren't less safe...they've got to drop it.
Does Nancy Boyda has a prescription for all those painkillers?
do republicans need to see therapists to deal with all the lying?
"Does Nancy Boyda has a prescription for all those painkillers?"
