41 Years Since Ryun Mattered; Jenkins Announcement Video

For those of you lucky enough to be on Jim Ryun's mailing list, you already know this, but for those of you not so blessed, let us just tell you that today is the 41st anniversary of Jim Ryun's world record-setting mile.

Seeing as it's the only reason he's yet to provide the public at-large for his re-election, it shouldn't surprise you he'd like you to donate to his campaign today in celebration of his greatest triumph. Please send $41 or $351 today (get it? 41 years, 3:51 race time? SO clever!).

Also, as an FYI, Ryun has extended his media buy....don't know if he'll have a new ad, or just more of "Duckling."

We missed this last week- our deepest apologies- Lynn Jenkins' announcement speech from Holton. We'd make fun of the content...if we could hear her over the wind.

At least Ryun matters 41 years later.
In 41 weeks, no one is going to know who you are. Or care, for that matter.

as a kansan, i'm insulted jim ryun thinks the information i need to know from him in order to decide whether or not i'm going to vote for him is "i used to run, and running made me the man i am today."

jim, dang it- WHAT DID YOU DO IN OFFICE?

yeah .... if you received his mailer .... it talks mostly about what he will do if elected .... no real mention of his 10 years there and accomplishments

that really is ridiculous...he's pretending he wasn't in office when the Republicans screwed this country...and that just ain't gonna fly.
