67, 66, 65, 64...

We're just moments away from out 20,000th hit- making us arguably the best-read political blog in Kansas (and certainly the most-read Democratic blog in Kansas), and still the only place to stop for all your 2nd Congressional District Primary & General election news.

Thank you all for making this blog such a success!

"limited immunity"

All they have to do is show that the government requested that they crap on the Constitution and they are let off the hook.

What is the ratio of Democratic leaning voters clamoring for telecom immunity versus those who wanted to investigate warrantless wiretaps and sue them?

The more power the government has, the less secure we are.and if the state had his way we would always be in an emergency.

Nancy has said I don't need this job. I can work as a lobbyist with the telecom companies and pay off my campaign debts a lot faster.

I do so enjoy Boyda Bloc's keeping an eye on my Rep (even if she and I don't always see eye to eye), but it seems Boyda Bloc's got a long way to go to catch up with Blue Tide Rising's 100,000 + hits to claim the "most-read Democratic blog in Kansas" title, but do keep up the good work.

We were talking about current reads- Blue Tide Rising, while still a fantastic blog, has,in recent months, dropped off in both readership and posts.

They're still in our rss readers, though!

Even if I am on the other side of things, I'll give you all props. At least you keep things lively.

i concur- i'm a republican, and i support jim ryun, but i'm glad this blog is here- it keeps me up to date with what's happening in the race, and it lets me vent when i need to.

now, if you'd just stop supporting boyda, you'd all be alright!

As long as you keep censoring comments you do not like, you will remain a small player. 20,000 hits hardly makes you the leader blog in KS. Heck, I got more hits on my web site in one month. So what makes you so impressed with a measly 20,000. Most of which is generated by the same ten people or so.

So, stop bragging and stop censoring. Than maybe with a blog name change, you might do better.
