Back again with our weekly update of how each of our major party candidates are doing in the world of social networking.
We're tracking Facebook and MySpace only.

Boyda, in our first week, is our clear winner, though Frm. Congressman Ryun did more than triple the number of people in his "Jim Ryun for Congress" Facebook group- up from 27 to 90.
Hmm...for the only candidate in the race with an avatar on Second Life, he's not so good at the social media.
Each week we'll indicate any up and down movement by putting increased numbers in bold and falling numbers in italics.

This is lame... nobody cares about this.
clearly that guy is from the Jenkins campaign....
this is just aother one of this campaign metric that might be interesting to someone...personally, I think its at least a little interesting
I agree, I think there are new technologies out there that help enhance a candidates availability to his/her constituents. I think utilizing these technologies and encouraging other candidates or elected members to do the same creates outreach, transparency, and connectivity between an official to the community. I'm glad to see that BoydaBloc is leading the charge in encouraging these tools.
boyda looks like she's done a he'll of a better job than the republican yahoos. Great job nancy!
